Meet Junko
Hello, I’m Junko, a qualified Naturopath specialising in women’s health and cyclical wellbeing.
My own journey with missing periods brought me to Sydney in 2004 to study Naturopathy — determined to heal my body naturally, without synthetic hormones or medications.
What I discovered was life-changing: when we slow down, nourish ourselves, and listen closely, the body responds. It begins to realign with its own healing rhythm.
Over more than a decade in the natural therapies field, I’ve witnessed again and again how powerful natural medicine, food as medicine, and lifestyle changes can be — not just in restoring physical health, but in helping women feel clearer, calmer, and more connected to themselves.
Your symptoms — whether physical, hormonal or emotional — are not random or something you need to push through. They are messages from your body, asking to be understood and supported.
As a Naturopath, my role is to help you uncover the root of those imbalances and guide you toward sustainable healing — using natural tools that honor your constitution, your cycles, and your inner rhythm. To support this, I weave in insights from Medical Astrology — giving me a deeper understanding of your unique patterns and rhythms, so your care is truly personalized.
Whether you're just starting to explore natural health or ready for deeper change, I'm here to guide you with care, clarity, and compassion.
My Healing Journey
Like many of the women I now work with, my own journey began with irregular periods in my teenage years. At the time, I was prescribed the oral contraceptive pill — a solution I trusted and remained on for nearly ten years. What I didn’t understand then was that the pill wasn’t restoring my natural cycle, but suppressing it, creating withdrawal bleeds rather than true menstruation.
Over time, I began to feel increasingly disconnected from my body and from myself. I experienced digestive discomfort, low energy, and emotional shifts that I couldn’t easily explain. Eventually, I started to question whether this was truly supporting my health, or simply masking what my body was trying to communicate.
That questioning became a turning point. I listened more closely to my body and felt a strong pull toward finding another way forward. This led me to Naturopathy — and ultimately to moving to Sydney to study it — driven by a deep desire to heal my body naturally, and to understand whether natural healing was truly possible.
My own healing journey took time, patience, and trust. I understand how confusing and discouraging this path can feel. Over many years, I learned that the body has an innate capacity to restore balance when it is listened to and given the right conditions. This experience continues to shape how I understand health and healing today, and it is at the heart of the work I now offer to women.
My Philosophy
I believe that healing begins with nourishment — not only through food, but through rest, rhythm, and the way we care for ourselves each day.
Your cycle — whether monthly or shifting with life stage — is a reflection of your overall wellbeing. When you learn to understand and work with your cycle, rather than against it, you gain powerful insight into what your body truly needs.
Health isn’t about perfection or control — it’s about creating flow.
Flow in how you feel — physically, emotionally, and energetically. That steady, grounded state where you feel more like you again.
I also believe in the healing power of food — in its most natural, nourishing form. Food is medicine, and small, sustainable changes can have a powerful impact on your energy, clarity, and emotional wellbeing. In my work, I value clean, nutrient-dense wholefoods and mindful, low-tox living as the foundation for long-term health.
Most importantly, I believe in empowering you to become the expert of your own body — so you can carry your wellbeing with confidence and trust, long after our work together.
Because when you nourish your body, honor your cycle, and live in flow — everything begins to align from within.
